Job Responsibilities

• Remain present at the shop during working hours and ensure the shop is properly managed, clean, organized, and ready for customers.

• Welcome customers, understand their requirements, and assist them in selecting suitable electrical products and small components.

• Maintain basic knowledge of electrical items such as switches, sockets, plugs, wires, circuit breakers, bulbs, LED lights, holders, adapters, chargers, and other small electrical components.

• Explain product features, prices, and basic usage to customers clearly and politely.

• Arrange products properly on shelves, check stock regularly, and inform management when items are low or out of stock.

• Receive new stock, count items, label products, and keep the store inventory organized.

• Pack customer orders carefully and prepare items for delivery.

• Deliver products to customers or coordinate deliveries when required.

• Prepare invoices, sales records, delivery notes, and basic daily shop reports.

• Handle cash, mobile banking payments, and customer payments accurately according to company policy.

• Keep the shop, shelves, counter, storage area, and display items neat and secure.

• Identify basic electrical problems and provide simple repair support when possible, such as repairing lights, changing switches, sockets, plugs, holders, wires, or similar minor electrical items.

• Assist customers with basic light fitting, small electrical repair, or installation work when required.

• Report damaged products, customer complaints, missing stock, electrical safety risks, or repair issues to management immediately.

• Maintain honesty in cash handling, stock management, delivery, and customer transactions.

• Perform other shop, sales, delivery, and basic electrical-service duties assigned by management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in an electrical shop, hardware shop, lighting shop, or electrical-parts store.

• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, lights, switches, sockets, plugs, and minor repair work.

• Ability to handle packaging, delivery, customer service, and shop operations.

• Honest, responsible, physically fit, and willing to learn.

• Good Bangla communication skills; basic English communication is an added advantage.
