Educational Requirements:
∎ A bachelor's degree and/or postgraduate qualification or equivalent
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain a positive and respectful relationship with the students living in the dormitory
∎ Provide proper guidelines, rules, & regulations to the students living in the dormitory in line with the BRACU policy and management and ensure the basic discipline of the dormitory
∎ Communicate with BRACU Medical Center for students' medical purposes
∎ Ensure proper meal serving system to all students and handle any disputes arising regarding hygiene, food menu etc. between the caterer and residents by reporting to the International Office and Operations Department
∎ Provide assistance to go outside with the students for their emergency issues if necessary
∎ Keep a record of students' daily attendance and ensure security, cleanliness, and proper dorm maintenance
∎ Take necessary action and inform BRACU Operations staff in charge to ensure proper infrastructural facilities and maintenance (as required) in the dormitory
∎ Manage the delivery of extracurricular services while in residence, i.e., airport pick up and drop off, transportation, stipend provision, shopping and cultural trips, and other residential recreational services
∎ Maintain all necessary official files related to students and the dorm
∎ Communicate with the International & Scholarship Office and BRACU Operations Dept. for emergency student-related issues
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in the similar position will be given preference
∎ Experience of coordinating people, projects and resources
∎ Experience of working closely with students
∎ Experience of supporting team activities
∎ Experience of building and closely monitoring budgets and resources
∎ Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
∎ Understanding of sensitivity to cultural issues
∎ Experience of working with and supporting senior management
∎ Experience of developing innovative solutions to problems
