With a schooling experience of more than four decades, Sobhan Karate Academy is currently operating at two different locations based in Dhaka. We have students from age 5+ to 65, more than 60% of whom are female.

Our uniquity is to nurture and train students to be a strong person—fit for our society. We study

our recruits and understand their individual psychology. Such practice helps us to map and go

through a distinct route to address their mentality and bring out the inner strength they possess.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to fill the role of Dojo Manager at our academy. The Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dojo and maintaining effective communication with students and guardians.

Working Hours

1:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Mondays to Saturdays

Responsibilities

· Manage day-to-day operations of the dojo, including scheduling classes, maintaining attendance records, and overseeing facility maintenance.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for students and guardians, responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing information about our programs.

· Maintaining communications with national and international bodies, including but not limited to martial art foundations, organizations, academies, embassies, etc. regarding tournaments, seminar, and programs.

· Develop and implement strategies to enhance student engagement and retention.

· Manage online communication channels, including the academy’s website, email addresses, and social media platforms.

· Assist with marketing and promotional activities to attract new students.

· Collaborate with instructors to ensure the quality and effectiveness of karate programs and classes.

· Organize and maintain student records in both physical and digital forms.

· Maintain financial records and assist with budgeting and accounting tasks.

· Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sports management, or a related field.

· Freshers are highly encouraged to apply. Proven experience in a managerial or administrative role will be appreciated.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong organizational and time management abilities.

· Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.

· Passion for martial arts and commitment to promoting the values of karate.

Compensation and Benefits

· Salary Tk. 30,000; negotiable considering the applicant’s experience.
