∎ Qualifications and Experience:
∎ • A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree with 12-15 years of relevant experience in content platforms, start-ups, ad agencies or social media agencies
∎ • A deep understanding of digital marketing including content, data, and analytics.
∎ • Capability to deliver high-quality creative output in short response times.
∎ • Professional certifications in digital marketing and allied areas will be considered as additional qualification.
∎ Experience: ·
∎ Minimum 10 years of work experience in relevant areas and at least 3 years of applied brand development work experience.·
∎ Knowledge about the higher education of Bangladesh sector is desirable·
∎ Prior experience working in higher education marketing/brand management, with progressively responsible roles.·
∎ Management/supervisory experience.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Key Responsibilities for this position include:
∎ 1) Lead development and implementation of marketing plans for university-level initiatives and priorities.
∎ 2) Lead and develop a team focused on brand excellence.
∎ 3) Brand UU as the most attractive and desired place for study in the country
∎ 4) Supervise and coordinate the Admission, PR & Brand Communications team
∎ 5) Cultivate effective working partnerships across divisions, functions, levels and colleges/units.
∎ 6) Lead and develop a team of professionals focused on internal brand alignment and prospective student marketing efforts.
∎ 7) Provide brand consultation to academic colleges and administrative units to support the efficacy of their marketing efforts and promote alignment with the university’s brand blueprint and marketing programs.
∎ 8) Integrated brand strategy efforts from liaising with internal/external vendor partners to managing to anticipate expectations of college/school colleagues and senior leadership.
∎ 9) Staff Development - Develops and maintains knowledge of successful marketing communications efforts. Works with Office of Admissions on recruitment campaigns directing development of new creative collateral and oversees prospective student messaging efforts through management of admission marketing team. Provides guidance and mentoring for Director/Deputy Director of Admission and other related communications personnel in admissions and within the marketing communications team.
∎ 10) Budgeting, Forecasting, Analyzing and Tracking Goals- develops budgets to support client/team objectives and plans.
∎ 11) Plan, implement, and lead integrated marketing, branding and communications strategies
∎ 12) Lead efforts to develop and evangelize global brand standards13) Advertising, marketing communications, and public relations strategies that support overall corporate goals, and strategic admission objectives & new markets
∎ 14) Create category-leading brand strategies in line with the University’s overall strategy and executing them across various platforms to reach its different audiences optimally.
∎ 15) Creating an annual plan for brand activities with defined metrics of success
∎ 16) Overseeing the creation and implementation of innovative communication campaigns with the highest quality online and offline content (on par with global standards).
∎ Additional Responsibilities:·
∎ Manage relationships with SEO consultants and all SEM vendors to ensure all participants are rowing the same way for maximum growth.·
∎ Develop and manage new brand strategy including creation of upgraded and upscale image of the university to potential students, guardians and employers ·
∎ Maximize effectiveness and impact by harnessing data to drive predictive, consistent results, make better decisions and maximize ROI.·
∎ Liaise with IT office for website technical such as key tags, SEO, landing page, web UI/UX, regular information’s audit ·
∎ Liaise with PR office and work hand in hand to initiate and manage campaigns·
∎ Liaise with Admission office to maximize quality student enrolment ·
∎ Measure, analyze and report to executive leadership such as VC, Pro-VC and BOT on marketing programs and campaign performances against predetermine KPIs and ROI.·
∎ Manage the different social media platforms or ensure the content that is being shared on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. carry the message of a high end image of the institution ·
∎ Build and lead the digital team who can execute as well as monitor traffic quality and optimize on a regular basis ·
∎ Take charge of the institutions entire digital web presence and take full responsibility of the team and the Office of Brand & Communication, UU
