Minimum 8 years of relevant internal audit experience.
In-depth knowledge of audit methodologies, risk assessment, and internal control frameworks.
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and governance requirements.
Proven experience in supervising audit engagements and teams.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proficiency in audit tools and documentation standards.
Ability to manage multiple audits simultaneously.
High ethical standards and professional integrity.
Willingness to travel extensively for field audits.
Annual Audit Planning
· Supporting the preparation and ongoing refinement of the annual Internal Audit Plan from regulatory and business perspectives
· Planning of agent point monitoring audits based on agent risk profiles, transaction trends, complaints, compliance history, and regulatory inputs
· Support in development and maintenance of functional risk buckets covering all divisions and departments
· Collaborate in preparing functional risk assessment matrices through stakeholder consultation and regulatory insight
· Determine and arrange logistic supports, approvals, and authorizations to ensure smooth audit execution
Audit Execution & Supervision
· Support in identification of key focus areas, audit objectives, and scope based on risk exposure and control effectiveness.
· Participate in developing audit programs aligned with business processes, policies, and regulatory requirements.
· Conduct walkthroughs to understand processes, embedded controls, and unattended risks.
· Supervise team members and keep track of the progress to ensure timely completion of audit.
· Prepare and follow up on document requisitions to ensure timely availability.
· Allocate audit tests, supervise audit teams, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
· Review audit evidence to ensure sufficiency, accuracy, and relevance.
· Prepare draft audit observations highlighting control gaps, exceptions, and residual risks.
· Support issue resolution through engagement with Audit Lead and audit teams.
Reporting & Quality Assurance
· Prepare draft audit reports, including agent monitoring audit reports and key market insights to be shared with BAC.
· Discuss audit observations with auditees, review their explanations, and refine observations.
· Ensure audit working papers are properly documented and archived in line with quality standards.
· Share the initial draft of the report with auditee for alignment.
Stakeholder Management & Development
· Act as a key point of contact for auditees, functional heads, and internal stakeholders.
· Engage with field-level stakeholders including distributors, agents and field sales team including sales leadership team.
· Stay updated on regulatory and business changes and support governance and control improvements.
· Continuously develop professional capabilities aligned with organizational needs.
