∎ B.Sc in Fashion Design & Technology / B.Sc in Textile Engineering (Fashion & Design) / Bachelor of Fashion Design from any reputed foreign or native University.
∎ Skills Required: Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Fashion Design

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Should have knowledge on Apparel Product Design & Development.
∎ To be ahead of trends in fabric, style, patterns and techniques.
∎ To forecast demand and identify colors, fabrics, textures, patterns, prints, etc.
∎ Producing unique and attractive apparel designs for various brands.
∎ Capable of preparing mood board & trend analysis.
∎ Making collection based on buyers requirements.
∎ Designing prints, jacquard and dobby patterns, check and stripe patterns for new fabric development.
∎ Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors and shapes.
∎ Developing different collections throughout the year that must be trend-led and tailored towards the brand's current customer base.
∎ Responsibility of Hand Drawing, Cad Drawing Illustrations, Graphic Designs for Product Presentations & Sketches.
∎ Understanding design from a technical perspective, i.e. producing patterns, toiles and technical specifications for designs.
∎ Sourcing, selecting and buying fabrics, trims, fastenings and embellishments.
∎ Follow up on sample development and monitor sample section activities.
∎ Should have good sense of product quality, creativity, innovation, assembling and washing.
∎ Maintaining liaison with merchandising department for any kinds of development.
∎ Any other job assigned by management as and when required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 40 years
∎ Fluent in English and communicate with foreign buyers.
∎ Must demonstrate strong interpersonal and creative skills.
∎ Creative skills: CAD, Illustrator, Photoshop and sketch/art.
∎ Excellent communication and presentation skills.
∎ Should have creative sense to produce new ideas and concepts.
∎ Should have knowledge about garment consumption and pattern.
∎ Technical skills areas such as pattern cutting, grading and garment development.
∎ Able to follow the aesthetics of leading US, European, UK brands.
