Assist in developing annual budgets, business plans, financial forecasts, and long-term financial projections
Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts and identify significant variances
Provide financial insights and recommendations to management based on business and market performance
Ensure optimum utilization of available funds and effective management of liquidity
Monitor fund requirements across business units, subsidiaries, and projects
Coordinate with banks regarding fund transfers, financing facilities, LC, BG, loans, and other banking arrangements
Analyze cash conversion cycles and identify opportunities to improve working-capital efficiency
Maintain effective relationships with banks and financial institutions
Prepare and review loan proposals, bank documentation, financial statements, and supporting schedules
Monitor loan utilization, repayment schedules, interest expenses, and compliance with financing terms
Coordinate with relevant departments for preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
Analyze revenue, cost, profitability, cash flow, and key financial indicators
Highlight financial risks, deviations, and improvement areas to management
Evaluate capital expenditure and investment proposals from a financial perspective
Conduct ROI, NPV, IRR, payback-period, and sensitivity analyses where applicable
Support management in evaluating expansion projects, capacity investments, and strategic business initiatives
Identify and monitor financial risks relating to liquidity, foreign exchange, interest rates, credit, and funding
Ensure proper controls over corporate financial transactions and fund utilization
Monitor foreign-currency exposure arising from imports, exports, foreign loans, and other international transactions
Analyze the financial impact of exchange-rate fluctuations and support appropriate risk-management decisions
Prepare periodic corporate finance MIS and financial analysis for senior management
