Job Context:
∎ Deputy Director Microfinance is responsible for leading the Microfinance Program of his jurisdiction which is generally consisted by minimum 50 branches under 5 to 6 zonal offices. He will be reportable to the Director Microfinance. This position will be accountable for execution of yearly budget & operational plan, strategic decisions and sustainability of Microfinance Program in the context of Gram Unnayan Karma strategy.
∎ Job Location: Bogura, but may be transferred anywhere in Bangladesh when situation warrants.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for overall management and administration of the Microfinance Program of his jurisdiction.
∎ Implement Budget and operational plan focusing on increasing the outreach of the micro finance program through the opening of new Branches, growth of the existing Branches and new products may also be developed if necessary .
∎ Guide and support the team of microfinance operation.
∎ Close cooperation with HR, Admin, ICT, Monitoring, Audit ,finance and other relevant departments for the shake of smooth functioning of program operation.
∎ With the help of training department, set-up an effective training calendar to develop MF staffs.
∎ Initiate new ideas and motivate staffs for their job satisfaction.
∎ Keep the staff motivated at all times to uphold the mission, vision and values of Gram Unnayan karma (GUK).
∎ He will be responsible for implementing and practicing all the policies of Gram Unnayan Karma are in practice in addition with the new policies that may be introduced in course of time.
∎ Regular field visit should be made to keep the program in order and on track.
∎ Ensure efficiency, effectiveness and transparency of field activities.
∎ Liaison and communicate with Government, Donors, Regulator & financial intermediaries and partners organizations.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ At least 10 years experience in Microfinance Program operation in reputed NGO-MFI and have minimum two years experience in similar position that is announced.
∎ Ability to build good working relations within program and beyond.
∎ Excellent communication skill both in English and Bengali.
∎ Management and leadership skill in Microfinance program operation.
∎ Excellent operating skills over MS Office and excel.
∎ Should have report writing and presentation skill.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 90000 - 100000 (Monthly)
∎ Salary is negotiable for the highly experienced candidate.
