Job Context:
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. Health & WASH Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 9 institutions and 16 donor funded projects.
∎ DAM Health & WASH Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of Junior/Assistant Accounts & Admin Officer for Road Safety Projects. It`s a Dhaka based position which will act as the key person of finance operations.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Train reporting agencies on data collection tools and equipment
∎ Implement quality control activities
∎ Develop and implement data management plans
∎ Oversee data management work performed by project staff and partners
∎ Ensure data system (Research Tool) is operational
∎ Manage data entry works/teams
∎ Troubleshoot data submission errors and data error issues
∎ Perform and document procedures for data preparation including data cleaning, standardization and analysis
∎ Responsible for quality control procedure
∎ Ensure data management procedures and projects have set timelines and meet established deadlines
∎ Understand and ensure privacy law and standards
∎ Produce weekly, monthly, annual data reports
∎ Develop ad-hoc reports as necessary
∎ Assist in defining and/or creating data listings, summary table validation, data specifications and/or process data transfers in preparation for statistical review and/or data management audit
∎ Participate in the preparation and presentation of data, when applicable
∎ Assist in developing means to correct the problems
∎ Additional Requirements
∎ University degree in related field, preferable having a master degree
∎ At least 3 years of experience in data management for research projects.
∎ Working knowledge of medical research database applications
∎ Highly motivated, willing to learn, good team work, service-oriented and able to work under high pressure and within a limited time frame
∎ Professional use of personal computer utilizing word processing, spreadsheet software programs
∎ Applicable knowledge working with statistic databases such as SAS, STATA, SPSS etc.
∎ Excellent communication skills
∎ Excellent English (written and spoken) as preference
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ 4 years, candidate having experience collecting anthropetric and biometric data will get preference.
