Education:

• HSC

• The candidate has HSC degree at the minimum.

• The candidate must have experience in data collection in Camp & Host community.

• The candidate must have English language skills.

HI has been working in Bangladesh since 1997, focusing on creating sustainable changes to ensure the rights and inclusion of people with disabilities in society. HI is an independent and impartial aid organization working in poverty, exclusion, conflict, and disaster situations throughout Bangladesh. With projects in different districts of the country, HI works not only with people with disabilities and other vulnerable populations, but also with their families, their communities, and local humanitarian actors to respond to their essential needs, improve their living conditions, promote respect for their dignity and fundamental rights, and provide sustainability in its action. As one of the key organizations in the disability sector, HI has a wide range of projects that assist in promoting the inclusion of persons with disabilities and their issues in emergency and development contexts, building capacities of local stakeholders, and reducing the impact of natural and human-made disasters. Particularly in Cox`s Bazar district, HI is providing services in rehabilitation, MHPSS, SRH, protection, and inclusive education with an inclusion mainstreaming approach to refugees and host populations affected by the forcibly displaced undocumented Myanmar nationals. HI`s multi-sectoral mobile units (MU) and static approach are currently working in 15 camps in Teknaf and Ukhiya Upazilas and surrounding host areas, providing comprehensive physical rehabilitation, primary health care, protection, and MHPSS services. HI is implementing a development and humanitarian response project in Kurigram, and Cox`s Bazar district through 4 project offices (Kurigram, Ukhiya, and Teknaf) and 1 coordination offices (Dhaka).

Project/Specificity: BPRM Mobile Unit Funded Project

Operational Thematic: Livelihood, Health and Rehabilitation, Protection, Inclusion, Education, and Atlas Logistics.

HI is currently looking for 14 Data Enumerators for “Inclusive specialized services for vulnerable persons including persons with disabilities in Cox's Bazar Rohingya camps and host communities (Phase 2, Year 3)” project funded by BPRM.

Vacancy: 14 (6 for the Teknaf site and 8 for the Ukhiya site)

Type: Contractual (Daily Basis).

Main deliverables:

• Conduct data collection at field level and mobile phone survey for HI (3 August 2025 – 31 December 2025) using mobile data collection apps. (Maximum 30 Days)

• Collect clear and good quality data as per expectation.

• Attend training (including field test) on data collection Collect necessary data using prescribed format (hard copy) or SurveyCTO through field visit.

• Submit the collected data in hard copy to assigned HI staff or submit the HI server

• Participate in the learning session after data collection

Working hours and conditions:

• The Data Enumerators will be recruited on daily basis.

• Working hour will be 8.00 am to 5:00 pm (including 1 hour lunch break); Total 8 hours per day.

• All the required data will be collected through home visit of individual beneficiaries.

• They have to arrange local transport by their own cost for field visit during training and data collection.

• Data collection areas: Refugee camps: 1E, 1W, 2E, 2W, 3, 4, 7, 9, 12, 14, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, KRC, NRC. Host Communities: Whykong and Sabrang Unions of Teknaf Upazila; Jaliapalong, Union in Ukhiya Upazila; Cox’s Bazar Saadar Hospital, Ukhiya and Teknaf Upazila Health Complexes, IOM and MSF Clinics.

Training & development and lessons learnt session

Training will be organized for the recruited Enumerators as part of capacity building before deploying them at field for data collection and lessons learnt session after completing the data collection.

*Agreement may be terminated by Handicap International without any notice or any payment in lieu of notice in the case of gross misconduct or dishonesty on the part of the EMPLOYEE in regards to HI-BGD rules & regulation.

Terms & Conditions from HI:

1. Data Enumerator receives BDT 1,000.00 (One Thousand BDT) per day as remuneration.

2. Data Enumerator has to work 8:00 hours (including 1 hour lunch hours) in a day (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM).

3. Data Enumerator can enjoy all the government declared holidays; but it will not count as working day.

4. HI will not provide the car support for Data Enumerators.

5. Data enumerator can`t share the HI beneficiary data with other actor or agency. He/she must follow the data protection policy.

Payment method and condition:

• Payment is subjected to number of days` work for Training and Data Collection.

• Payment will be done after completion of data collection as per requirement.

• Payment will be done by cash.
