∎ Operational/Context Role:

∎ AGRAJATTRA is looking for an experience and competent Counselor for the project titled "Prevention of GBV and Improve Health, Livelihood and Psychological Well-being of Host and Rohingya Community at COXB, Bangladesh". The project is funded by Médecins du Monde France (MdM) - France. The project components are Mental Health and Psychological Support Service (MHPSS), Gender Based Violence (GBV), Sexual Reproductive Health & Rights (SRHR) and Livelihood development. The project will be implemented at Host Community and Rohingya community of Cox`s Bazar. Counselor will responsible for providing services to the survivors of Mental Health Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) and GBV Services on awareness raising and counseling) to the affected populations of host community and Rohingya Community in Regular basis through Community Resource Center(CRC).

∎ 1. Program Planning, Implementation and Management:
∎
∎ Prepare work plan for weekly and monthly basis and implementation that plan accordingly by ensuring case management or counseling quality standards towards achieving the project results
∎
∎ Use, obey by IASC, WHO or MdM 's guidelines and forms in conducting counseling and referrals
∎
∎ As applicable conduct counseling sessions following an action plan jointly set with survivors on regular basis at Community Resources Centers (CRC),
∎
∎ Refers survivors to the psychologist or the case manager timely as necessary and report accordingly
∎
∎ Refers the GBV survivors to the appropriate service providers as per her/his needs and demand (Legal support, MSPSS, medical, protection, etc.), in coordination with case manager and/or GBV coordinator
∎
∎ Assist case manager/ Psychologist for reporting and information updating
∎
∎ Maintain documentation papers/ data register related to counseling private and confidential
∎
∎ Ensure referral pathways is updated with all available services in camp and host communities,
∎
∎ Ensure networking and contribution carry out event Management tasks/ activities
∎
∎ Facilitate counseling services for staff
∎
∎ Support community volunteers in their tasks
∎
∎ Conduct awareness session at community level as per needs
∎
∎ Support adolescent club, protection group, youth plat forum group as per needs
∎
∎ Maintain evidence-based information and preserve the record sheet with coding system
∎
∎ Other tasks as per the project needs.

∎ 2. Effective communication and coordination (Internal and external)
∎
∎ Coordination with related technical actors at camp level service/ host community,
∎ Coordination with union level stakeholders namely Union Parishad (UP)
∎ Develop networking and rapport building with GOs, NGOs and Private sector service providers for achieving project goal and objectives as per planned schedule.

∎ 3. Reporting to :
∎ Submit weekly counseling reports, list of cases and follow ups and ensure all information is updated and coded
∎ Submit Monthly Work Plan SRH and GBV and MHPSS counseling.
∎ Report to GBV coordinator and Psychologist
∎
∎ 4. Networking :
∎ Represent Agrajattra at the Case Management Working Group and other appropriate forum
∎
∎ 5. Leadership Behavior :

Additional Requirements:

∎ At least Four year working experience of humanitarian program in National and/or international NGOs
∎ Demonstrated experience and commitment to working with vulnerable communities.
∎ Experience in GBV, MHPSS and SRHR aspects
∎ Experience working in Rohingya camps is a significant advantage
∎ At least two-years working experience as a counselor of GBV/MHPSS/SRHR aspects

∎ Fluency in English and Bangla (written and spoken) and excellent writing skills.
∎ Rohingya or Chittagonian language skills is a significant advantage

∎ Technical Skills :

∎ Strong person-centered and empowering approach in case management and follow up including reporting and safe, confidential data management
∎ Knowledge of project cycle management is an added value

Salary:
∎ Tk. 26500 (Monthly)
