Educational Requirements:
∎ Master’s degree in Finance/Accounts or relevant field strongly preferred
∎ Culinary school diploma or degree in food service management or related field
∎ Post Graduate in Hotel Management will get preferred.
∎ High level of language proficiency (English and Bengali-both verbal and written).
Job Responsibilities:
∎ As a Cost Controller you are responsible to liaise closely with the Food & Beverage Department on various operational and cost related issues and your role will include key responsibilities such as:
∎ Prepare the costing for recipes and menus prepared by the Executive Chef and suggest the selling price to the management
∎ Perform test checking on the receiving of goods at the hotel to ensure that the procedures are followed correctly
∎ Prepare daily flash report of food costs and verify daily outlet void control sheets
∎ Analyze all food and beverage costs on a monthly basis and making recommendation of alternatives on cost savings
∎ Establish and maintain a database for food and beverage inventory stock including up-to-date pricing
∎ Attend major banquet events with open bar, prepare menu and event P&L statement of major banqueting events and prepare banquet revenue breakdown summaries
∎ Provide analysis of F&B stores consumption to handle the ordering of Food and Beverage as accurately as possible
∎ Establish and maintain a cost allocation transfer system for food and beverage supplies to the various departments
∎ Randomly test the inventory of outlets by reconciling the opening stock with the closing stock, taking account of store issues and sales
∎ Verify and control complimentary request form, Food & Beverage cost, fruit baskets in the rooms, Housekeeping Amenities, engineering machine & equipment’s, etc.

∎ Skills Required:
∎ Excellent organizational and leadership skills, Hard Worker, Hotel/ Restaurant Management, Presentation Skill
∎ Experience may be considered equivalent if experience demonstrated increased depth and breadth of responsibility
