∎ Master of Social Science (MSS) in Gender Studies, Political Science, Development Studies, or in Social Justice Programming
∎ Post Graduate Degree in Gender Studies, Political Science, Development Studies, or in Social Justice Programming.

∎ Must Have 5-7 years work experience in feminist advocacy, leadership development, or social justice programming.
∎ Demonstrated success in policy advocacy, movement-building, and feminist organizing.
∎ Strong understanding of intersectionality, feminist leadership, and advocacy approaches.
∎ Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
∎ Experience working with diverse stakeholders, particularly ethnic communities, Dalit and religious minorities.
∎ Lived experience in relation to the issues addressed by feminist leadership initiatives will be considered as strong asset.
∎ Fluency in English and strong report writing skills.
∎ Ready to visit and stay at remote area.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure overall implementation of the project and provide overall guidance.
∎ Integrate and promote feminist values and intersectional frameworks within organizational strategies and practices.
∎ Collaborate and coordinate across departments to ensure effective and smooth operation of the program.
∎ Develop strategies rooted in feminist principles to address systemic inequalities faced by ethnic and religious minorities and Dalit.
∎ Build and sustain strong networks with organizations, local CBOs, and individuals to influence gender-responsive policies and practices.
∎ Represent the organization in advocacy coalitions, forums, and public engagements nationally and internationally as nominated.
∎ Organize national and international training sessions and workshops on feminist leadership and advocacy.
∎ Facilitate capacity-building activities and dialogues on feminist approaches.
∎ Support and strengthen networks of feminist leaders, activists, and organizations.
∎ Conduct and support research related to feminist advocacy issues.
∎ Document case studies, impact stories, and lessons learned to show-case feminist practices.
∎ Ensure timely and accurate reporting to the relevant stakeholders including resource partners as decided in the project description.
∎ Collaborate with the monitoring and communication teams to develop content that promotes feminist advocacy.
∎ Ensure that learning from evaluations and assessments is integrated into future planning.
∎ Develop and monitor performance indicators related to feminist leadership and advocacy.
∎ Perform any other additional tasks/ duties assigned by the Management of CCDB.
∎ Project Overview: The Samaan Aawaaz Project focuses on promoting women in leadership roles and strengthening the enabling environment for their meaningful participation in decision-making processes. The initiative targets Ethnic communities, Dalit, and religious minorities. Grounded in a rights-based approach, the project is guided by principles of participation, equity, inclusion, transparency, accountability, and empowerment. The project seeks to build the capacity of stakeholders to recognize their individual and collective rights and responsibilities, support women’s rights and empowerment, and deliver more equitable and inclusive public services. A strong emphasis is placed on transparency, accountability, equity, and inclusion in governance, with a focus on feminist leadership, advocacy, and citizen-led social accountability.

∎ Position Objective: The Coordinator, Samaan Aawaaz will lead the implementation of a project promoting feminist leadership, gender justice, and advocacy for ethnic communities, Dalit, and religious minorities. The role involves team capacity building, networking with allies, and influencing policy and discourse through a feminist lens. This position is ideal for someone deeply committed to intersectional feminism, with experience in social justice advocacy and women’s leadership development.
