Job Context:
∎ WaterAid (WA) Bangladesh is an international non-government, not-for-profit organisation, determined to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere. It works within a generation through convincing the governments to change laws, linking policy makers with people on the ground, pooling knowledge and resources, and rallying support from people and organisations from different corners for making lasting change happen on a massive scale. WA is looking for a dynamic, committed, passionate and self-driven individual for the position of `Coordinator-Administration and Procurement` for its country office in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
∎ Reportable to: Head of Finance and Administration
∎ Working hours: Full time (05 days and minimum 37.5 hours per week)
∎ Contract tenure: Fixed Term, for 03 years, with a possibility of extension

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Purpose of this role is to support the organization providing administrative, logistics, procurement and relevant services, security management maintaining compliance to ensure organizational functionality. The role is also responsible for maintaining relationship with Government, NGO/INGOs and international agencies and ensuring WaterAid's operation is in compliance with the regulations of the Government of Bangladesh, in particular related to different ministries, the NGO Affairs Bureau, VISA offices, immigration etc.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 06 (six) years relevant work experience with reputed organisation/NGO or INGO
∎ Demonstrated experience for leading/managing administration and procurement in any donor funded NGO/ INGO.
∎ Experience of dealing with NOGAB approval process
∎ Demonstrated expertise of managing, and motivating team members and building high performing teams
∎ Good articulation, drafting, presentation and oral communication skills (Bangla and English)
∎ Knowledge on procurement planning and budgeting, follow up progress, decision making, report writing - especially on procurement and admin function
∎ Possess good people management skills; supportive attitudes and should be able to draw confidence and support from others
∎ Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and capacity to understand and walk with people from all walks of life.
∎ Possess personal integrity, flexible attitude, sense of transparency, proactive stance and respect for gender, safeguarding, diversity and organizational cultural.
∎ Competent to make effective decisions, uphold organizational values and promote integrity
∎ Able to plan, prioritise and organise self and others
∎ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Salary:
∎ Monthly gross salary is in the range of BDT 120,000-125,000/-; flexible for deserving candidate corresponding to higher credentials. Benefits include provident fund, gratuity, festival bonus, life insurance for self, health insurance for self, spouse and children, cell phone allowances etc. as per policy provision.
