Job Responsibilities:
∎ To promote and market BAA's ongoing multi-faced program to supporting better nutrition and one of its key element is the introduction of fish into the diets of young children through still child pictures.
∎ The pictures will be used in many publications and posters. In a sense, this image of a child will be the image of our activity. The posters with images will be screened for a wide audiences, the public, business leaders, government, and others
∎ It is also important to create awareness related to BAA projects, opportunities and services among the mass communities, public, partners, donors and others so that they can be informed about the impact of their supports on the lives of children and individuals.
∎ Visit at least the BAA office in Jessore for three days where BAA staff will provide travel support, guidance and assistance in identifying potential child models, some logistics, and other information.
∎ Set up a suitable scene or studio setting to photograph two or three child models in appropriate poses.
∎ Provide high resolution jpeg or raw files (300 dpi at 2610 X 3900 pixels) -- printed and on DVD or flash drive.
∎ Revise and finalize the photographs after consultation with BAA.
∎ Deliver at least 20 high quality photos of healthy children happily eating nutritious fish.
∎ Please note- To photograph children, explicit parental consent must be obtained. BAA will provide a standard consent form which must be completed prior to any photography.
∎ BAA will pay all models. Payment will be made by BAA to the child's parents or legal caregivers at the time of shooting.
∎ The photographer will follow USAID photography guidelines in this assignment, which will be provided and explained by BAA.
Additional Requirements:
∎ High resolution jpeg or raw files (300 dpi at 2610 x 3900 pixels) photos of happy, healthy and laughing child from WorldFish areas of work in Jessore, Bangladesh.
∎ Each photo should have its metadata with captions, copyrights, and other relevant information.
∎ Each photo should be edited.
∎ Provide high resolution jpeg or raw files (300 dpi at 2610 X 3900 pixels)-- printed and on DVD or flash drive.
∎ The selected photographer must show a portfolio of prior experience in photographing similar scenes, provide his own photographic equipment capable of delivering high resolution jpeg or raw files (300 dpi at 2610 x 3900 pixels), and guarantee timely delivery of the images. To apply you must provide professional references.
∎ The applicant must include statements in the proposal on how s/he will ensure ethical behavior and child protection during the assignment.
