Job Context:
∎ JAGO NARI is working in the development sector since 1998 for women empowerment and reduces inequality at coastal districts of Bangladesh. JAGO NARI is seeking a Community Promotors for Right 2 Grow (R2G) project. Funded by Action Contre la Faim (ACF). This
∎ Job Location: Taltoli Upazila under Barguna District.
∎ Project Duration: As per Project Duration
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design the Plan for conducting in-depth safety assessment of the project area to identify vulnerability and needs.
∎ Provide training to the Community Beneficiary in conducting the assessment.
∎ Work closely with the Community Beneficiary in conducting the safety assessments.
∎ Prepare an assessment report including the Nutrition & Wash activities
∎ Ensure that the designs include the considerations to ensure accessibility of the children/ persons with disabilities.
∎ Ensure disaster resilient WASH facilities in Working Area.
∎ Maintain weekly and monthly implementation plan.
∎ Jointly work with Community Stakeholder assist them for smooth implementation.
∎ Establish and maintain liaison/coordination with the Government & UP officials.
∎ Work closely with Union Parishad for implementation
∎ Organize training sessions for stakeholders to ensure achieve project objectives.
∎ Ensure awareness of the Men, Women and children on use of WASH facilities and Nutrition.
∎ Prepare weekly and monthly progress report of the activities and submit to the Supervisor on time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ At least 2 years of experience in development sector as Same Position.
∎ Age: Age At most 35 year(s) but it should be relaxed for experienced candidate
∎ Experience in implementing, designing and guiding the implementation of the project activities in the rural areas;
∎ Innovative, dynamic, hardworking and have good interpersonal relationship and ability to work in a team;
∎ Experienced in communication, liaison and collaborating with the GO/NGO officials;
∎ Good communication skill in English and Bengali;
∎ Willing to work in pressure situation and interested to implement project at the remote areas of Bangladesh.
Salary: Tk. 15000 (Monthly)
