Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Community Centre(CC) Assistant will be responsible for the following tasks:
∎ Management & Information Sharing:
∎ Supervise community center in absence of community center supervisor.
∎ Be responsible for community center management, cleaning, and overall security of the CC.
∎ Maintain daily reports for both CC and ISC in absence of the supervisor.
∎ Share key messages and information verified by UNHCR staff and the CwC working group.
∎ Ensuring outreach to the community hence promoting the awareness of the community center in the area of operation.
∎ Work closely with the established community structure as well as working with Imams, teachers, women groups, youth groups, and persons with disability, among others.
∎ Implementing different activities among the community people with ensuring the community engagement
∎ Conduct FGD on monthly basis finding new needs of the community.
∎ Oversee Imam and Female Religious Teacher (FRT) Group and facilitate regular meetings with the group members to motivate them to participate in the awareness-raising activities for the community
∎ Administration & Reporting:
∎ Provide logistic support to run CC smoothly, if necessary, contact his/her supervisor for requisition.
∎ Set up a community center at the designated location from 09:00 to 16:00, 5 days a week. Record community center activities in the register book.
∎ Compile reports on community center activity; maintain all activities in the different register books.
∎ Sharing updated weekly and monthly reports from all the community centers on the different activities including the weekly sessions with imams and female religious teachers.
∎ Ensure the imam's and female religious teachers' databases are updated regularly in the camp
∎ Other:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure if any reportable incident occurs, and encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Fluency in written and spoken English.
∎ Previous experience conducting field data collection with humanitarian or development organizations desirable
∎ Strong organizational skills
∎ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with both field teams, local authorities, and local communities
∎ Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as well as the ability to plan, take initiative and organize work independently.
∎ Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
∎ Comfortable working in refugee camp settings and spending majority of time in the field
∎ Comfortable working in a cross-cultural environment

Salary: Tk. 40000 - 43000 (Monthly)
