Job Responsibilities:
∎ Connecting stakeholders across the organisation to deliver a consistent brand image and messaging through our online/offline channels
∎ Manage all British Council, Bangladesh social media channels ensuring compliance with corporate standards as well as generating response and engagement with the target audience
∎ Monitor and measure online and offline communications channels' performance to make recommendations and improve performance
∎ Support the development and delivery of bespoke communications outputs for projects, taking into account audiences, key messages and project objectives, such as calls for applications and contra promotions for partners
∎ Create or adapt online and printed communications materials - write and/or edit collateral including: websites, events calendar, press releases, brochures and printed material to a variety of internal and external audiences including major donors and prospects, industry specific networks, and the general public
∎ Generate or adapt social media content to support country impact and activities and manage engagement with digital stakeholders
∎ Support Comms team with collateral produced by and campaigns managed by partners and/or agencies, ensuring that appropriate brand, identity and key messages are reflected across all products
∎ Systematic filing and archiving of relevant documents such images, video, creative design file, campaign reports, channel reports, team ppts, briefing notes, etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least one-year relevant work experience in the areas of content creation, internal and external communications, media planning, branding, using social media and other digital platforms
∎ Demonstrable experience in creating communications outputs for different audiences across different platforms
∎ Demonstrable experience in managing social media platforms and basic event delivery
∎ Excellent spoken and written Local and English language skills
∎ Ability to assist in the development of media and communications strategies
∎ Knowledge of design, print and publication; audio video editing software; e-newsletter platforms such Campaign Monitor; Social Media monitoring platforms, and Social listening tools
Salary:
∎ Monthly salary BDT 46,809 (Consolidated).
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Transport allowance of BDT 9,000 per month plus other benefits according to the organisation's policy
