∎ Professional Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant/ Certified Cost & Management Accountant/ CIPA (AAOIFI) will be preferred.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and execute financial strategies, goals, and policies.
∎ Provide strategic financial leadership to the ManCom and Board.
∎ Analyze financial trends and support decision-making with insights.
∎ Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
∎ Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
∎ Prepare and present accurate financial reports to stakeholders.
∎ Optimize capital structure, cash flow, and investment decisions.
∎ Manage financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
∎ Establish internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure audit readiness.
∎ Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
∎ Collaborate with regulatory bodies (IDRA, NBR, RJSC, BIDA, BSEC) and financial institutions.
∎ Maintain investor relations and liaise with auditors and financial partners.
∎ Bengal Islami Life Insurance Limited, a leading Islami Shariah based 4th generation life insurance company is searching for a competent accounting professional for the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to proficiently oversee and control the strategic and internal financial affairs of the Company. This is a senior management position in the company, who will report to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of the Company.
