Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate must possess MBA/M.Com (major in Finance & Accounts) with minimum completion of CA Professional level.

Job Context:
∎ A reputed and fast growing publicly listed General insurance Company of the country is looking eligible and deserving candidates for the above position
∎ Job Location - Head Office in Dhaka

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The incumbent will be overall responsible to look after company's accounting & financial activities as an In-charge/ Head of Finance & Accounts department of the company
∎ Prepare annual accounts and balance sheet of the Company for approval of the Board and place the same for external auditor complying with applicable International Accounting Standards (IAS/ IFRS).
∎ Capability to deal with Bankers, Auditors and regulatory authorities specially IDRA (Insurance Development & Regulatory Authorities), Tax & VAT Authority.
∎ Responsible to monitor company's budget, VAT, Tax, Banking and other financial activities.
∎ Maintain financial books of accounts and statements in compliance with the requirements of the related bodies - Auditors (internal & external), NBR (Tax purpose) and VAT authorities.
∎ Monitoring branch cost control & premium collection & delivery.
∎ Preparing & produce report as per requirement of the management & Board of Directors'.
∎ Deal with the marketing personnel judiciously and meet their requirement from time to time with utmost courtesy.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ The applicants should have minimum 10 (ten) years' experience in a senior position in Accounts department of a reputed General Insurance Company. (Minimum 5 years' experience as In-charge is preferred)
∎ Should have competency on computer-based accounting system
∎ Strong analytical & problem-solving skills and experience.
∎ Should be honest, trustworthy and hard working
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills, influencing ability & an approachable working style.
∎ Strong communication skills in Bangla and English
∎ Should be capable to work as individual or in team.
