Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate must possess MBA/M.Com (major in Finance & Accounts) with minimum completion of CA Certificate Level.

∎ At least 7 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ A reputed and fast growing publicly listed General insurance Company of the country is looking eligible and deserving candidates for the above position
∎ Job Location - Head Office in Dhaka

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain and prepare all kind of vouchers, Cash Book, Cheque Register, Bill Register, General Ledger & different registers related to Finance & Accounts.
∎ Maintain financial books of accounts and statements in compliance with the requirements of the related bodies - Auditors (internal & external), NBR (Tax purpose) and VAT authorities.
∎ Develop and maintain working relationships with Bankers, Auditors and regulatory agencies specially IDRA (Insurance Development & Regulatory Authorities), Tax & VAT.
∎ Maintain petty cash & checking billing processes (Accounts payable/ receivable)
∎ Ensure daily data entry in the accounting software independently in due time.
∎ Preparing all sorts of vouchers of all transactions with proper supporting documents.
∎ To review various type of cash requisition for fund allocation.
∎ To make posting of various types of vouchers, bills, and invoices etc. in Software.
∎ Maintain proper coordination with the internal and external auditors to satisfy audit queries.
∎ To perform other task assigned by management from time to time.

Additional Requirements:
∎ The applicants should have minimum 7 (seven) years' experience in Accounts department. (experience in a general insurance company is preferred)
∎ Strong analytical & problem-solving skills and experience.
∎ Should be honest, trustworthy and hard working
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills, influencing ability & an approachable working style.
∎ Strong communication and writing skills both in Bangla and English
∎ Should be capable to work as individual or in team.
