Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
∎ The incumbent should be a Master in Finance/Accounts from any reputed University.
∎ Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) / Qualified Cost and Management Accountant (CMA)
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparation & implementation of annual budgets & ensuring budgetary control.
∎ Preparation of business plan and provide recommendation to the Board of Directors.
∎ Preparation & implementation of accounting policy & procedures manual.
∎ Ensure timely & effective supervision of financial and accounting functions of the company.
∎ Ensure financial transactions are recorded timely and review of interim (monthly, quarterly, half yearly) & annual financial statements before submitting to Audit Committee of the Board of Directors and external auditors.
∎ Ensure compliance with Tax & VAT Laws and filling return including withholding tax return of the company.
∎ Ensure compliance with Listing Regulations of Dhaka & Chittagong Stock Exchange, Corporate Governance Code, and Securities & Exchange Rules of BSEC.
∎ Supervise investor relation department in preparing annual report, board of Directors & Annual General Meeting& compliance with Listing Regulations of Stock Exchange, Corporate Governance Code, Securities & Exchange Rules & Regulations of BSEC& other stakeholders.
∎ Conduct visit to resort as when required to ensure effective operation of accounting & financial system.
∎ Dealing with banks & Financial Institutions regarding its existing & potential debt finance.
∎ Overall Preparation, Presentation, Compilation of Financial Statements (Monthly, Quarterly, Half yearly and annually for Management and Audited with Budget achievement analysis )
∎ Ensuring compliance with the Company's policies in day to day financial operations.
