Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Menu Planning and Development:
∎ Develop innovative and appealing menus in line with the establishment's concept and target audience.
∎ Incorporate seasonal ingredients and culinary trends to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
∎ Ensure a balance between creativity and profitability by managing food costs and portion control.
∎ 2. Food Preparation and Presentation:
∎ Oversee food preparation and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards.
∎ Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
∎ Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
∎ 3. Staff Management and Training:
∎ Recruit, train, and manage kitchen staffs.
∎ Provide leadership and direction, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
∎ Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training programs as needed.
∎ 4. Inventory and Cost Control:
∎ Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving ingredients and supplies.
∎ Monitor food costs and implement strategies to control expenses without compromising quality.
∎ Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and availability
∎ 5. Kitchen Operations:
∎ Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
∎ Coordinate kitchen activities to ensure smooth workflow during peak times.
∎ Monitor equipment maintenance and address any issues promptly.
∎ 6. Culinary Creativity and Innovation:
∎ Experiment with new cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles to elevate the dining experience.
∎ Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate them into the menu and operations.
∎ 7. Customer Interaction:
∎ Interact with guests to gather feedback and make adjustments to the menu based on customer preferences.
∎ Address customer concerns or special requests regarding food preparation.
∎ 8. Compliance and Regulations:
∎ Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation standards.
∎ Stay informed about relevant local regulations related to the food industry.
∎ 9. Budgeting and Reporting:
∎ Develop and manage the kitchen budget, including labor and food costs.
∎ Provide regular reports to upper management regarding kitchen performance, financials, and goals.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3+ years' experience as a Chef or in a similar leadership role in reputed 4 to 5-star Hotels.
∎ Culinary degree or relevant culinary certifications are preferred.
∎ Strong creativity and passion for culinary arts.
∎ Excellent leadership and team management skills.
∎ Proficiency in menu planning, food cost control, and inventory management.
∎ Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
∎ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
∎ Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
