We are seeking a skilled Chef / Cook (FEMALE) to prepare exceptional multi-cuisine dishes for a private residence. You will craft delicious meals according to the preferences of resident members while ensuring taste, presentation, and timely delivery. From time to time, you may be required to undertake additional responsibilities as reasonably required.
To prepare and present a diverse range of high-quality dishes, ensuring excellence in taste, hygiene, and hospitality for resident members and their guests during formal events, family gatherings, and daily meals. You will manage grocery shopping, kitchen maintenance, and cleanliness while adhering to strict hygiene standards. Working closely with the Residence Supervisor, you will ensure smooth kitchen operations with minimal supervision.
Roles and Responsibilities
A. Culinary Expertise
Prepare meals and menus featuring local and international dishes of the highest standard.
Craft first-class dishes tailored to the specific preferences of residents.
Maintain a deep understanding of residents’ culinary preferences, including likes and dislikes.
Develop and update a comprehensive menu book for the residence.
Ensure portion control and aesthetic presentation of all dishes.
Conduct regular menu trials with a focus on seasonal ingredients.
B. Hygiene and Kitchen Maintenance
Maintain impeccable standards of food preparation, handling, and storage.
Ensure thorough kitchen cleanliness and adherence to hygiene regulations.
Evaluate ingredients to maintain consistent quality.
Monitor inventory levels and implement stock management practices.
Promote a safe, functional, and organized kitchen environment.
Apply health and safety standards through regular cleaning schedules.
Minimize food and supply waste through effective controls.
C. Grocery and Resource Management
Plan and execute systematic shopping for residence groceries.
Ensure menu planning and grocery procurement are conducted in advance.
Maintain records of dietary preferences and event-specific recipes.
