Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Commerce (MCom), Master of Commerce (MCom)

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 20 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Accounts, Finance, Internal Audit, Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Textile, Garments, Group of Companies

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must be a Chartered Accountant with minimum 20 years of practical experience in Textile Industry.
∎ The candidate should have practical experience in Finance, and Accounting Management and Company affairs. Shall be responsible for overall financial and accounting management of all units of the Group.
∎ Should have experience on preparing feasibility report (New project), financial reports, credit authorization, Multinational Company/Large Group of Company.
∎ Must have sound knowledge in computerized accounting, financial planning, cost, budget, audit, banking, Tax & VAT, insurance and other related activities
∎ Formulate and implement Strategic Business Policies, Protocol, and Standard Operating Procedure-SOP of Financial Aspect.
∎ Actively participate in the company's business planning process including new business to prepare the annual operation plan.
∎ Ensure financial planning for the business unit.
∎ Expose financial operation, accounting & reporting, crafting and developing internal control system.
∎ Define, design and analyze business process and monitoring cost and profitability statement.
∎ Supervise, monitor and control the Chart of Accounts of the entire Company.
∎ Actionise financial analysis for project profitability analysis, Investment
∎ Analysis, Segment profitability analysis, business forecasting etc. applying management accounting technic.
∎ Ensure the financial statements complying International Financial Reporting
∎ Standards (IFRS), Bangladesh Financial Reporting Standards (BFRS), Income
∎ Tax Ordinance, Companies Act and Bangladesh Accounting Standards (BAS) purpose of Management, Bank and NBR
∎ Developed and implement system for controlling of wastage of raw material.
∎ Planning for long term and short term capital requirements.
∎ Developing and implement the system for Accounts Receivable and payable management.
∎ Development of internal control system to minimize the opportunity for cash
∎ mishandling to safeguard company's assets.
∎ Supervise, monitor and control the assets management and movement.
∎ Oversee Corporate Taxation: direct Tax and indirect Tax.
∎ Timely submission of return for CIT, WHT and VAT.
∎ Comply the provision of Income Tax ordinance 1984, VAT Act 1991.
∎ Maintaining the books of accounts of VAT as applicable for the company.
∎ Dealing audit matter with audit team in a routine manner to improve systems.
∎ Maintain and ensure integrity in accounting system, ensuring it remains effective and operational at all times.
∎ Assist in company's budget and forecast process.
∎ Assist with annual and quarterly forecasting.
∎ Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision making.
∎ Supervise Accounts department.
∎ Fully qualified Chartered account (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with significant experience in Garments manufacturing business.
∎ Operational responsibility for treasury, foreign exchange and letters of credit.
∎ Assist in company-wide budgetary planning.
∎ Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions.
∎ Contract auditing services to ensure financial monitoring is up-to-date.
∎ Update and implement financial policies and procedures.
∎ Must stay current with financial developments in foreign economies that affect clients and the organization.
∎ Extensive knowledge of foreign exchange processes.
∎ Develop and implement strategic plans in concert with Top Management and Bank.
∎ Facilitate development of credit process and strategies.
∎ Day to day financial management and control.
∎ Management of relationships with banks, accountants, lawyers and other professional advisors
∎ Act as Head of Finance and Accounts.
∎ Ensure that company financial practices are in line in statutory regulations and legislation
∎ Analyze the financial climate and market trends to assist senior executives in creating strategic plans for the future.
∎ Supervise financial assistants and other employees in the facilitation of day-to-day operations, including tracking financial data, invoicing etc.
∎ Prepare official reports on a monthly and annual basis.
∎ Create and maintain relationships with supplier and contractors, including bank and accountants.
∎ Maintain a policy manual for the finance department.
∎ Work with human resources employees to secure candidates who will be an asset to the finance department.
∎ Establish and implement a training program for new finance employees.
∎ Ensure all finance reports as required by management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 45 to 55 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Capable of establish liaison and communication with national and international financial institutions/bodies.
∎ Fully qualified Chartered account (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with significant experience in Textile business.
∎ Must have knowledge about BTB L/C, Loan, EDF Loan etc.
∎ Excellent communication skills in English (Written/ Verbal).
∎ Must have excellent knowledge in MS office program (MS Word, MS Excel, Power point etc.)
∎ Excellent personality with positive approach/attitude.
