Job Context

Fresh SuperMart, a retail chain under Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), is expanding its footprint by launching new outlets at Metro Rail stations. These outlets will provide customers with a convenient and high-quality shopping experience, offering a wide range of FMCG products, including groceries, beverages, and snacks. MGI is seeking dedicated Cashiers / POS Operators who can ensure smooth and accurate sales transactions, provide excellent customer service, and support the overall operations of the store, contributing to a convenient, high-quality, and customer-friendly shopping experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers and POS systems to process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Process cash, card, and digital payments to maintain accuracy and accountability.

• Provide receipts, refunds, or exchanges to maintain accurate transaction records and customer satisfaction.

• Assist customers with billing queries and payment-related concerns to ensure satisfaction.

• Monitor cash drawer and report discrepancies to maintain financial accuracy and control.

• Coordinate with the Sales Assistant team to maintain a smooth workflow at the checkout counter.

• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and secure handling of payments.

• Keep the checkout counter clean and organized to uphold hygiene and a professional store appearance.
