Responsibilities & Context:
∎ ( We are hiring Buying Lead (Fish, Meat, Fruits and Vegetables) for a reputed Supershop/retail online shop)
∎ Responsibility:
∎ Buying Lead for the Fresh Produce category involves overseeing the procurement process to ensure a consistent and high-quality supply of fresh produce. This includes building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. The Buying Lead is responsible for aligning sourcing strategies with market trends and consumer demands, and optimizing the supply chain for cost-efficiency. This role requires a keen understanding of market dynamics, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams to support the overall business strategy.
