Educational Requirements:
∎ M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Botany or Zoology
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyzing the needs, strengths, and weaknesses of students and structuring lessons and assessments accordingly.
∎ Supervising lab sessions, delivering practical demonstrations, and accompanying students on field trips.
∎ Demonstrating concepts through hands-on activities in the classroom
∎ Attending meetings, training sessions and other continuous pedagogy initiatives.
∎ Create lesson plans for students and reviews lesson plans for the week and ensures that the classroom is prepared for the needs of the lesson plans.
∎ Create tests/exam papers for the students and assess students performance in tests/exams
∎ Provide general instruction and guidance to students and create a classroom environment conducive to learning and education.
∎ Write progress reports for the students.
∎ Conducting meetings with parents to review a student's progress and student performance.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching Biology, but fresher's having commitment to teaching are also encouraged to apply.
∎ Candidates must have proper knowledge of Biology CAIE Syllabus of both O & A level.
∎ Long-term commitment towards the institution.
∎ Comfortable in working with students of different levels.
∎ Must be able to work well in a team.
∎ Willing to do all the works assigned by the Department and School Management.
∎ Keeping updated about developments and research in the field, and using this to ensure lessons are relevant.
∎ Excellent fluency both in spoken & written English.
∎ CAIE Training and Experienced in teaching O & A levels will be given preferences.
∎ Must be dedicated and punctual.
∎ Tutoring experience would be advantageous.
∎ Should be active, willing to take challenge
∎ Training on teaching-methodology and technique will be an added advantage.
