Responsibilities & Context:
Cost Accounting Responsibilities
Calculate cost of project (raw materials, labor, overhead, etc.).
Analyze cost variances and recommend cost-saving measures.
Maintain inventory costing and monitor material usage efficiency.
Track total project efficiency.
Prepare cost reports for management decision-making.
Financial Accounting Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and project wise financial statements.
Manage accounts payable & receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger entries.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Ensure tax compliance (VAT, corporate tax, withholding tax, etc.).
Internal Control & Compliance
Implement cost control measures and monitor project expenses.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, audit requirements, and legal regulations.
Work with auditors for internal & external financial audits.
Software & Automation
Work with IT to implement cost & financial automation in ERP/accounting systems.
Generate automated costing & financial reports for management review.
