Job Context:
∎ We are looking for an Associate Research Fellow for a minimum commitment period of one year. The candidate will be primarily based in Dhaka, with travel outside Dhaka as needed.
∎ Reporting and base: The position will report to Executive Director and will be based at BIGD, Mohakhali.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing the Digital financial Inclusion project
∎ Manage the aforementioned project-efficient, effective, ad timely planning and implementation
∎ Manage a team of qualitative researchers to deliver the project outputs
∎ Work closely with the Research Advisors to design, plan and implement the project
∎ Guide the team of researchers in data collection and analysis
∎ Liaise with international partners to communicate and coordinate research activities
∎ Prepare reports and articles as required by the project
∎ In-house research
∎ The associate will contribute to in-house research projects, including but not limited to developing new programmatic/policy research projects that use qualitative and basic quantitative methods.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 3-5 years' experience in research management.
∎ Knowledge on digital financial inclusion is preferred
∎ Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and Bangla
∎ Demonstrated leadership and management skills
∎ Creativity and ability to interact with different stakeholders
∎ Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work on a team and under pressure with strict deadlines to manage relationships and multiple projects
∎ Strong analytical skills
∎ Multicultural and gender sensitivity
