∎ Ph.D. degree in the relevant field from an accredited university.
∎ Minimum of GPA/CGPA 3.0 (on a scale of 4) in three academic levels (SSC or O’ Level or equivalent, HSC or A’ Level or equivalent, Bachelor or equivalent, and Master’s or equivalent) is required.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ BRAC University is a leading private university in Bangladesh. We are seeking to bring extremely bright and promising senior and junior faculty to the School of Data & Sciences which houses the computer science and mathematical, physical, biological, environmental and statistical science programs. The school serves about 10,000 undergraduates and postgraduates. Recent senior hires include faculty who were postdocs at Harvard and Princeton. Recent junior hires are for example former participants in International Mathematics, Physics and other Olympiads. The school has a wide range of students, ranging from medalists in the International Informatics Olympiad to students who are energetic but inexperienced with science or computers. In order to develop this talent and solve fundamental problems and practical problems relevant to Bangladesh’s development, we seek to attract highly motivated and promising new faculty. Candidates with significant industry experience and/or professional certification may also be considered at an appropriate rank.
∎ Computer science, including all aspects of artificial intelligence, data science, quantum computing, bioinformatics, health AIs, computation, high performance computing, graphics and vision, educational technology, HCI, optimization and computational game theory, security and cryptography, and applications to hardware and robotics.
∎ Biological sciences including all aspects of molecular biology, genetics, neuroscience, applications to biotechnology, microbiology, biophysics and bioengineering
∎ Mathematical and physical sciences, statistics, and applications to theoretical high energy and condensed matter physics, gravitational and astrophysics, mathematical physics, statistical and topological data analysis, and chemistry.
