  • 5+ years in regulatory affairs, preferably in RMG, manufacturing, or energy.

  • Certification: Bangladesh Environmental Lawyers Association (BELA) training preferred.



Responsibilities & Context:

1. Purpose Of The Position
Secure and maintain all factory licenses, environmental clearances, and regulatory filings to ensure zero non-compliance penalties and uninterrupted operations.

2. Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

  • Track all regulatory deadlines for trade license, fire certificate, environment clearance, factory registration.

  • Prepare and submit applications to DoE, DoF, BSTI, BIDA, and local municipalities.

  • Liaise with internal compliance team to close audit observations before inspector visits.

  • Maintain physical and digital registers for all regulatory correspondence.

  • Respond to show-cause notices or queries within statutory timelines.

  • Update management weekly on pending, approved, or at-risk licenses.

  • Coordinate with legal panel for complex regulatory interpretations.

  • Drive renewal process 60 days ahead of expiry – zero last-minute filing.

  • Represent company during routine regulatory inspections.

  • Maintain fee payment records and budget for annual regulatory spends.
