Experience:
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a MBA major in accounting / Finance with strong practical experience. "Candidates who have completed CA Intermediate/Part-qualified will be additional preference"
5-7 years of solid experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably in the freight forwarding, logistics, transport, or fleet management industry.
Practical experience in managing receivables, payables, billing, job costing, bank reconciliation, VAT/Tax, and financial reporting.
Strong communication skill, negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
Strong command of MS Office, particularly MS Excel and other software.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for effectively managing and supervising day-to-day accounting and financial activities, ensuring proper financial control, timely reporting, collection, payment, reconciliation, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable & Collection: Monitor customer outstanding balances, aging reports, credit limits, and ensure timely collection.
Accounts Payable: Verify and process payments to shipping lines, airlines, agents, transporters, C&F agents, vendors, and other service providers.
Billing & Invoicing: Ensure accurate and timely customer billing against freight, transportation, C&F, documentation, handling, and other applicable charges.
Job Costing & Profitability: Ensure shipment/job-wise revenue and all related costs are properly recorded and monitor gross profit/loss.
Bank & Cash Management: Manage bank reconciliation, cash transactions, payment schedules, and daily cash-flow requirements.
VAT & Tax: Maintain proper VAT/Tax records and coordinate with management and relevant consultants regarding statutory compliance.
Agent Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts with overseas agents, co-loaders, carriers, and other business partners.
Payroll & Staff Payments: Supervise salary, allowances, staff advances, reimbursements, and related payments.
Financial Reporting: Prepare regular management reports covering revenue, expenses, receivables, payables, profitability, cash flow, and other financial indicators.
Internal Financial Control: Ensure proper documentation, authorization, and control over company expenditures and prevent financial leakage.
Coordinate with Operations, Commercial, Sales, C&F, Transport, and Management to ensure accurate financial transactions and timely settlement of operational expenses.
Support management in budgeting, financial analysis, cost control, and other finance-related activities as required.
