Job Context:

Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer, and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of the entire human community. DAM has been contributing to the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development.

The Health and WASH Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 8 institutions and 17 projects. Mayer Hashi General Hospital and Diagnostics Center situated in Dhaka, Ashulia, is one of the institutions of the Health Sector, aiming to provide high-standard quality healthcare services to the general population at a reasonable price. It’s a well-equipped diagnosis service along with a pharmacy setup. DAM Health Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of Assistant Hospital Manager at Mayer Hashi General Hospital and Diagnostics Center, Munshiganj.

Location: The position will be based at Mayer Hashi General Hospital and Diagnostics Center, Ashulia, Dhaka.

Job Responsibility:

• Monitor inhouse activities of the Hospital and ensure daily functioning as well as monitor daily Hospital activities and provide feedback for improvement of the Hospital;

• Manage the regular procurement of the Hospital;

• Work collaboratively with the HR and Accounts team of the Health Sector to implement the Hospital’s administrative tasks:

• Assist in managing day-to-day crises and deal with especially vulnerable populations;

• Maintain the overall documentation process of the Hospital;

• Maintain collaborative communication with all technical people in the Hospital to ensure better service to clients;

• Contribute to training and development of the team;

• Ensure overall cleanliness of the Hospital;

• Conduct sessions for client’s regular basis as per requirement;

• Must abide by the Safeguarding Policy including PSHEA, Child Safeguarding, Gender, Anti-Harassment and Whistle Blowing policy, Code of Conduct and other policies of Dhaka Ahsania Mission consciously.

• Adhere to all organization policies and procedures

• Perform any other tasks from time to time given by the authority.
