Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a Front office manager to manage our reception area. He/She will act as the `face` of our hotel and ensure visitors receive a heartwarming welcome. He/She will also coordinate all front desk activities, including calls, reservations and guests services.
∎ As a Front office manager, he/she should combine a pleasant personality with a dynamic professional attitude to supervise and lead our team. Our ideal candidate can deal efficiently with complaints and has a solid customer service approach.
∎ Ultimately, He/She should be able to ensure our front desk provides professional and friendly service to our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To oversees the entire Front Office operation to maintain high standards.
∎ Evaluate levels of guest satisfaction and monitor trends with a focus on continuous improvement.
∎ Set departmental objectives, work schedules, budgets and policies and procedures.
∎ Monitor the appearance, standards and performance of the Front Office team members with an emphasis on training and teamwork.
∎ Ensure team members have current and up-to-date knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and policies.
∎ Maintains good communication and working relationships with all hotel departments.
∎ Monitors and maintain staffing levels to meet business demands.
∎ Acts in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front of house equipment and property management systems.
∎ Assists with other departments as necessary.
∎ Resolves guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously.
∎ Updates group information. Maintains, monitors, and prepares group requirements. Relays information to appropriate personnel.
∎ Conducts regularly scheduled meetings of front office personnel.
∎ Ensure implementation of all hotel policies and house rules.
∎ Ensure logging and delivery of all messages, packages, and mail in a timely and professional manner.
∎ Ensure that employees are at all time attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests managers and other employees.
∎ Maintain an organised and comprehensive filing system with documentation of purchases, vouching, schedules, forecasts, reports and tracking logs.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Excellent knowledge of the English language is mandatory as well as the ability to speak, read and write clearly.
∎ Must be able to listen, read and/or write instructions, memos, short Correspondences and messages.
∎ Computer proficiency for regular work like MS office, excel, email, etc.
∎ Clear operational concept on Hotel PMS.
