Responsibilities & Context:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage career services, including planning, staffing, and budgeting.

  • Act as the key link between students and employers; analyze job trends, build employer relationships, and prepare students for the job market.

  • Build and maintain partnerships with external organizations to expand opportunities for students and alumni.

  • Advise internally and collaborate with employers to enhance student learning and career services.

  • Lead alumni relations and engagement strategy, fostering long-term connections with the university.

  • Provide expert career guidance for students and alumni.

  • Organize workshops, seminars, and events for students, employers, and alumni.

  • Develop alumni engagement and leadership programs in collaboration with campus stakeholders.

  • Lead alumni relations initiatives and corporate outreach programs.

  • Oversee recruitment, interviews, and job placement services for students and alumni.

  • Coordinate with faculty to align career services with academic and internship needs.

  • Report on placement, internships, and work-based learning outcomes to leadership.

  • Plan and deliver career development events for students and alumni.

  • Lead the careers and alumni team to meet strategic goals.

  • Develop team capabilities and manage performance.
