Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the academic work and progress of Grades 9–12 (IGCSE, AS & A Level).
  • Follow up with teachers about students' academic progress.Monitor and ensure timely syllabus completion for all grades.
  • Oversee remedial work and extra classes for weak students, planning targeted improvements.Conduct result analysis for Internal Exams, Mock Exams, Screening Tests, Cyclic Exams, and Final Exams, followed by actionable feedback.
  • Implement strategies and measures to improve academic results.Provide weekly reports on academic progress, remedial actions, and updates to the Principal/Vice Principal.Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Principal or Vice Principal.

Examination Department Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the preparation and review of question papers for all subjects across Term-1, Term-2, Final Exams, Mock Exams, Screening Tests, and Cyclic Exams.
  • Prepare the examination schedule for all grades in collaboration with the Examination Department.
  • Design and manage the invigilation duty chart to ensure smooth execution of exams.
  • Analyze post-exam results and lead follow-up meetings with Heads of Departments (HODs) and teachers to discuss outcomes and improvement plans.

Timetabling Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage the academic timetable using aSc Timetable software along with the timetabling team to optimize teacher allocation, classroom usage, and student schedules.
  • Guide the timetabling team to resolve scheduling conflicts promptly while ensuring curriculum requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with HODs to integrate co-curricular activities into the timetable without compromising academics.

Parent & Teacher Meeting (PTM) Responsibilities:

  • Preparing PTM seating plans for teachers to ensure smooth interactions with parents.
  • Address parent concerns related to academic performance or student progress during PTMs.
  • Teacher & HOD Evaluation:
  • Prepare the Lesson observation Schedule.
  • Conduct lesson observations for teachers and HODs to maintain high teaching standards.
  • Provide constructive feedback to teachers and HODs to enhance instructional quality.
  • -Prepare detailed lesson observation reports highlighting strengths, areas for improvement, and recommendations for professional growth.
  • Assist in recruitment by conducting demo sessions for prospective teachers in various subjects.

Academic Planning & Administration:

  • Along with the Heads, design the academic calendar for the entire school.
  • Assist the Principal, Vice Principal in addressing senior school (Grades 9–12) academic-related issues.
  • Oversee curriculum planning to ensure alignment with IGCSE, AS & A Level standards.

Responsibilities Related to Merit Scholarship Exams:

  • Organize and oversee Merit Scholarship Exams for eligible students in Grades 8 & 10.
  • Manage exam schedules, seating arrangements, and invigilation duty charts for scholarship exams.
  • Responsibilities Related to Coordinating International Competitions:
  • Along with the HoDs, promote international among students.
  • Identify eligible students based on academic performance and interest areas.
  • Oversee the preparatory sessions or training programs with the mentors.
  • Monitor and collect time to time updates.
