∎ 2 years of experience in Japanese or Asian cuisine
∎ Experience in a reputed restaurant or hotel will be considered a plus
∎ Knowledge of Japanese ingredients, cooking techniques, and presentation styles
∎ Ability to work in a team under pressure
∎ Strong communication and time management skills
∎ Willingness to learn and follow instructions

∎ Assist in preparing Japanese dishes such as sushi, sashimi, ramen, teriyaki, tempura, and other traditional items
∎ Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control as per club standards
∎ Follow hygiene and food safety practices strictly
∎ Prepare mise en place and assist during service hours
∎ Support kitchen inventory management and proper storage of ingredients
∎ Work closely with the culinary team to ensure timely and quality food preparation
∎ Learn and adapt new techniques in Japanese cuisine as guided by senior chefs
∎ Job Context:
∎ Gulshan Club Limited is looking for a passionate and skilled Assistant Chef (Japanese Cuisine) to join its Food & Beverage Department. The ideal candidate should have experience in preparing authentic Japanese dishes and be capable of working in a high-standard kitchen environment, supporting the Head Chef in delivering excellent culinary experiences to club members.
