Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assistant Catering Manager shall be the sole responsible for establishing, maintaining and servicing contacts with the representatives of Government, Travel Industry, Private Business Community & Social Groups etc. The incumbent has to perform the following duties but not limited to, as follows:
∎ Assist the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to ensure high standard of Catering Services and coordinate with the F&B Outlet Managers in understanding their insights and opinions who maintain high standard of service quality while dealing with our international and local guests.
∎ Propose and prepare Banquet Menus, cocktails, receptions, meeting facility arrangements together with the Food & Beverage Manager and Executive Chef.
∎ Handle all enquiries, negotiations, and collect approvals related to functions and finally issue functions sheets.
∎ Help to Develop and implement product promotions, food and beverage pairings, menu items, recipe preparation and presentations.
∎ Provide new business ideas and help Assistant Director of Food & Beverage so that revenue can be increased and guest satisfaction index become higher than the existing.
∎ Conduct competitive market analysis including pricing of Restaurants & Bars. Also conducting local customer research based on trends and new lifestyles.
∎ Perform any other lawful assignment given by the Assistant Director of F&B as well as on emergency requirement basis.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Maximum 33 (thirty-three) years of age as of last date of submitting the application.
∎ 3-5 years of relevant experience is required. Experience in a 5 Star Hotel Catering Sales, Marketing, Customer Service will get preference.
∎ Age limit & experience may be relaxed for extraordinary candidates as per the discretion of the Management.
∎ Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
∎ Candidates having knowledge of preparing Budget and Business Plan are preferred.
∎ Confident enough to arrange meetings and dealing directly with clients.
∎ Other Requirements:
∎ Presentable personality, well groomed, courteous and excellent inter-personal relationship skills.
∎ Commendable communications proficiency both in spoken & written English and Bangla.
∎ Other language proficiency will be counted as an added advantage.
∎ Familiar with MS Office package and Internet Browsing.
∎ Should have a "Can Do Attitude".
∎ Confident to work independently with minimum supervision & ready to work extra hours irrespective of Duty schedule based on client requirements & emergency situations.
