Additional Requirements:
- Age At least 40 years
Having experience in accounting and finance, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, taxation, VAT, and compliance issues.
Proven leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Proficient in ERP/accounting software and MS Office applications.
Proficient English Communication.
Responsibilities & Context:
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounts department including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
Develop internal control systems, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient financial management.
Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, banks, and regulatory bodies as required.
Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
Ensure timely filing of VAT, Tax, and other regulatory submissions.
Lead, mentor, and manage the accounts team to ensure high performance and professional development on regular basis.
Provide strategic input to senior management on financial planning and business decisions.
Monitor cost control and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and corporate governance standards.
