Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing
∎ Masters in Marketing or Business Administration or in social science or suitable field.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Advocacy and Marketing Specialist will assist in developing strategies for branding and marketing clinic services, advocacy activities, and community events. Specific responsibilities include:
∎ 1) Establishing the brand identity to promote project services, sites and networks as the "Rainbow Clinics" with the media and at public interactions
∎ 2) Developing innovative marketing tactics to promote project visibility and services for the government, ULBs and in the community
∎ 3) Nurturing strategies to involve private entities, PA-NGOs to enhance marketing the clinic services and expediting project transition
∎ 4) Negotiating best telecast rates and frequency with media channels and vendors
∎ 5) Refining the national and PA NGOs BCCM and Advocacy media plans and supporting its implementation as per the event calendar.
∎ 6) Leading advocacy efforts to form the National UHCC and develop its work plans.
∎ 7) Leading advocacy efforts to strengthen Ward UHCC and its effort at project transition.
∎ 8) Writing press releases and ensuring they are published as per the quarterly media plan
∎ 9) Training of PMU, PIU and PA staffs on branding and marketing as needed;
∎ 10) Assisting partners to coordinate activities with other entities providing urban PHC services;
∎ 11) Working with the team to develop guidelines in Bangla (and English if required by the Client) for the high impact marketing events.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 7 years' experience of working in public health or social awareness programs with 3 years' experience in social marketing programs targeted at policy level advocacy and with service providers and patients will be preferred. Prior project advocacy experience with senior government staff, elected representatives and community leaders is a mandatory requirement. English and Bangla language fluency is required. The candidate must have experience working in Bangladesh. Branding and international marketing experience is desirable.

Salary: Negotiable
