Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's Degree in Education, Social Science, Project Management, or related fields.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible to ensure timely deliverable of primary education activities according to the approved project document and work plan as agreed under the UNICEF project
∎ Oversee technical team of specialists focused on improving early grade reading outcomes of children in host community of Cox's Bazar (Curriculum Development officer & Training module officer and other Project officers)
∎ Lead design and implementation of improved pedagogical practices, access to library and child-centred teaching-learning for children in government primary schools.
∎ Review technical content (such as Teaching and Learning materials, Training Modules, etc.) and provide feedback on these materials
∎ Review and analyse existing government teacher education curriculum and training packages of Diploma of Primary Education (DPEd) and design improved modules for training/workshop for the Master Trainers, Government Officials and Head Teachers
∎ Design and facilitate capacity building session/workshop for targeted personnel from PTI, URC, other govt officials and head-teachers on improved practice on school management, academic leadership and Community participation
∎ Review finalize and develop existing supplementary teaching-learning materials for Primary Grades and in consultation with RtR CO technical team and UNICEF
∎ Work closely with relevant government stakeholders to ensure sustainable programing aligned with the Fourth Primary Education Development Program (PEDP4)
∎ Finalize assessment framework & implementation plan in consultation with CO technical team;
∎ Help analyse data to inform periodic review and course correction to ensure that project activities are based on evidence and generating innovative approaches towards improved learning outcomes
∎ Support in documenting lessons learnt and best practices of the project
∎ Ensure that issues of gender and disability are factored into the project design
∎ Report timely the implementation of the project targets
∎ Engage with government and do outreach in support of project activities, especially in relation to implementation, scale up and sustainability

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 8 years related work experience with at least 3 years in similar position
∎ Good knowledge and understanding of education issues, including teaching methodologies and community involvement in schools
∎ Have knowledge on design and implementation of improved pedagogical practices, access to library and child-centred teaching-learning in government primary schools
∎ Should have expertise on developing supplementary teaching-learning materials for Primary Grades
∎ Should have experience on facilitating training
