Job Context:
∎ UDOY, a national level NGO has been implementing different skills development projects right now in different locations of Bangladesh. Udoy is looking for a young and energetic Accounts Officer at its Mirzapur center.
∎ Job Location: Based in Mirzapur, Tangail. Need frequent travel to other project areas on demand basis.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Closely monitor all payments and expenditures
∎ Preparing and maintaining, journal entry, stock register, cheque register, asset register and VAT and TAX register.
∎ Maintain Organizational accounts (Cash Book/ Bank Book/ledgers etc.)
∎ Prepare and maintain all the vouchers and bills requisition timely.
∎ Manage petty cash as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
∎ Identifying variances in actual expenditure and the budget
∎ Reconcile the Bank Accounts regularly
∎ Ensure VAT and tax deductions are compliant with Government rules and regulations
∎ Coordinate with the internal and external auditors during audits and prepare financial audit preparation.
∎ Prepare Monthly SoEs
∎ Perform any other tasks assigned by the management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ At least 5 year(s) in NGO
Salary:
∎ Taka 20,000 - 25,000/month (Negotiable)
