∎ Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards.
∎ Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
∎ Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
∎ Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
∎ Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
∎ Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
∎ Monitor and analyze accounting data, and produce financial reports or statements.
∎ Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
∎ Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
∎ Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
∎ Coordinate and support the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
∎ Manage inventory accounting and oversee the financial transactions related to the depot.
∎ Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
∎ Prepare and file tax returns and handle other regulatory compliance matters.
∎ Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
