Job Context:
∎ Caritas Bangladesh is inviting applications from eligible candidates (men and women) to appoint immediately for the following positions which is based at its Central Office, Dhaka as well as to make a panel list of qualified and deserving candidates for future recruitment where required.
∎ Reporting to: Manager (Accounts)/Manager (Grants)
∎ Job Nature: Contractual/ Temporary
∎ Job location: The position is based in Dhaka but field visit at Regional, Project and Field Offices is required.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Checking of bills/ invoices complying the policy of the Organization/Donors/Govt.
∎ Operate Tally Accounting Software.
∎ Monitoring and adjustment of advances (traveling, project and other).
∎ Assist in preparation of monthly accounts with necessary sub-schedules of Central Office/Project.
∎ Review the monthly financial statements and fund requisitions of the Regional and Project offices.
∎ Making necessary adjustments of the inter office Project expenditure.
∎ Reconciliation of current/ advance accounts maintained with the Regional and Project offices.
∎ Assist in preparation of annual final accounts, consolidated final accounts, periodical accounts of Caritas Central, Regional and Project offices.
∎ Assist in handle Internal/External Audit of the organization.
∎ Assist in preparation of budget during formulation of Project proposal.
∎ Prepare donor report as per prescribed format of donors'.
∎ Assist Senior Manager (Accounts)/ Manager (Grants) in maintaining the accounts of the organization and financial reporting to different authority.
∎ Assist Senior Manager (Accounts) to preserve all accounting documents/records, such as vouchers, bills, cash books, ledgers, donors' ledgers & registers, fixed assets registers, bank books and other related documents and to ensure the maintenance and safeguard of them.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age: 25 - 45 years (as on 28/02/2021)
∎ Minimum two years working experience in the similar job in any reputed NGOs.
∎ Experience in maintaining accounts and financial reporting of projects will be given preference. .
∎ Knowledge on VAT/Tax and GAAP is essential.
∎ Knowledge on computerized accounting system, ICT particularly on MS Excel, MS Word (both Bangla & English), etc., is essential. Capable to operate Tally-Accounting Software will be an added value.
∎ Should be fluent in communication both in writing and speaking in English.
∎ Should be self-driven and positive to work in a team.
∎ Should have "can do' attitude and able to handle multiple tasks managing priorities.
∎ Committed to work following organizational aims, values, principal and policies.
∎ Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 40,000-45,000 negotiable (consolidated) per month depending on the experience and qualifications.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Bonus: Two bonuses @50% of consolidated salary per year.
