Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Business Administration/ Finance/ Accounting or Master of Commerce (M. Com), B. Com/ MBA finance
∎ M.Com. in Accounting with Honors; ACCA (Course completed) would be preferred.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Accounts, Audit, Commercial/ Export-Import, Finance, Internal Audit
Job Context:
∎ Job purpose: Provide a vital link related to financial activities between TSB and UoE main office to support implementation of financial, accounting process and systems within TSB. Ensure day to day smooth functioning of CCBOC project through adequate support related to finance & office administration within TSB office, investigator sites if needed.
∎ Position Summary: Responsible for financial operation aspects of CCBOC project.

∎ Reports To: Senior Trial Manager (UOE)/ TSB officials/ LSTM official.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare budgets for the events to be organized by the project;
∎ Budget tracking, expenditure monitoring, expenditure forecasting and timely financial reporting.
∎ Ensure proper utilization of allocated funds.
∎ Ensure that the project's finance system follows Internationally agreed accounting standard.
∎ Ensure donor and Govt (Tax &Vat) compliance are met in financial record and reporting
∎ Willingness to work closely with relevant stakeholders like LSTM managers, UoE finance team or other external stakeholders
∎ Maintain & prepare all kind of financial statement
∎ Preparing & maintaining CCBOC study related Financial accounts, Management Accounts.
∎ Review the cash flow requirement to ensure sufficient fund available to meet operation
∎ Prepare & perform variance analyses and works with LSTM managers & Sr Trial manager to develop strategies to maximize budget efficiency.
∎ Maintain & preparing all kind of vouchers, cash book, bank book, bill register, general ledger & different register related to finance & accounts.
∎ Preparing, Maintaining & Entering bank related transactions.
∎ Preparing Reconciliation Statement related to finance & accounts.
∎ Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices and other accounting documents.
∎ Checking all vouchers (Receivables, payable and payments) of factory & head office.
∎ Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly management accounts report.
∎ Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information, statements and reports.
∎ Follow up existing bank interest / profit service charges etc as per sanction letter.
∎ Monitor the monthly factory cash budget and actual expenditure.
∎ Projection of fund disbursement plan.
∎ Ensure debit/ credit/ journal vouchers etc. are prepared properly, ensure adjustment of advances etc.
∎ Ensure proper implementation & functioning of financial policies & procedures at factory level
∎ Ensure release of staff's salaries and other overheads payments on regular basis with high level of compliance
∎ Support development of financial process for TSB
∎ Should have mentality to contribute & give leadership in accounts department.
∎ Perform any other related work assigned by the authority.

∎ Support and ensure successful financial audit
∎ Salaries, overheads payments, vendor payments on time
∎ Ensure availability of adequate funds for smooth running of the studies
∎ Excellent support to LSTM team for financial process development and implementation.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s) of experience as accountant.
∎ Experience in managing financial control of international clinical research projects will be preferred
∎ Having a Master's in Business Administration (MBA- Finance) or Advanced certificate course in Finance
∎ Fluent in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)
∎ Good coordinating and organizational skills.
∎ Fluency in both languages English and Bangla
∎ Good leadership skills
∎ Excellent documentation skills
∎ Knowledge of financial audit & other financial process is desired
∎ Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
∎ A helpful and flexible attitude and ability to relate to colleagues of all levels.
