Educational Requirements:
∎ Master Degree in Accounting/Finance (in case of experienced candidate educational requirement may be compromised).
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
NGO
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain Cash Book, Petty Cash book, Ledgers, Advance Register, Fixed Assets Register, Stock Register and Cheque Issue Register under standard accounting system and financial guideline.
∎ Prepare vouchers after checking the bills and process for payment after approval of the concerned authority and record these according to corporate system.
∎ Continue day-to-day transactions and update all books of account on daily basis as per policy and financial guideline. Also ensure cash certificate in daily basis.
∎ Provide support to the program team through ensuring all sorts of logistics support to them.
∎ Support Project Manager to prepare operational budget.
∎ Undertake procurement activities according to organization's financial policy and donor's guideline and maintain required documents according to compliance. Ensure Tax and VAT according the country's rules and laws.
∎ Prepare pay roll sheet and arrange to disburse salary according to organization's policy.
∎ Check and ensure motor cycle log book updated and maintained properly
∎ Ensure internal control system everywhere in the project.
∎ Operate bank transactions and prepare bank reconciliation report in regular basis and preserve it in a separate file.
∎ Monitor the integrity of financial dealings by the program people Financial Framework through review of month end checklists.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial report with budget variance and analysis and report it to the concerned authority.
∎ Prepare and maintain staff personnel file according to HR policy and donor guideline and keep it updated with every intervention.
∎ Always be ready for presenting documents to internal and external auditors.
∎ Manage the allocation of service desk calls and ensure responses are in line with agreed KPIs.
∎ Execute all sorts of financial and administrative activities according to the organizational policies.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Good IT skills especially in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
∎ Excellent skill in preparing all sorts of financial reports and proven writing and oral communication skills in English and Bengali.
∎ Excellent knowledge in working with development projects of NGOs.
∎ Supportive attitude towards the colleagues
∎ Minimum 3-5 years working experience in exclusively in NGOs with developmental project.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 25050 (Monthly)
∎ TK. 25,050 (with festival bonus as per budgetary allocation).
