Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Foreign Banking Operations: Manage transactions with foreign banks, including LCs and remittances, ensuring compliance.
∎ Dollar Purchase Management: Handle foreign currency purchases and negotiate favorable exchange rates.
∎ Budget and Reporting: Prepare budgets and generate financial reports for stakeholders.
∎ Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax laws, and foreign exchange regulations.
∎ Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable to suppliers and accounts receivable from buyers.
∎ Cost Analysis: Monitor and analyze operational costs to optimize financial performance.
∎ Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with banks, suppliers, and partners for smooth transactions.
∎ Team Leadership: Lead and train the accounting team on financial and banking processes.
∎ Contract Review: Evaluate financial terms in contracts with coal suppliers, transportation providers, and equipment vendors.
∎ Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks related to currency fluctuations, credit exposure, and supplier dependencies.
∎ Financial Forecasting: Provide financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
