Job Context:
∎ AIDS/STD Control Program (ASP) invites applications from suitable candidates for the position of Accountant with AIDS/STD Control Program funded by Global Fund. The appointment will be made on Contractual Service Agreement basis for 10 months which is renewable depending on performance and availability of funds. The position will work under the direct supervision of Assistant Manager (Finance)
∎ Posting location: ASP Headquarter (Dhaka)
Additional Requirements:
∎ Prepare payments, salaries and maintain petty cash etc for the prison staff;
∎ Handle financial matters with nine (9) prison hospitals/health facility;
∎ Maintain debit and credit vouchers;
∎ Utilize database software to organize financial account information;
∎ Ensure that all transactions are well documented;
∎ Keep and maintain all the books of accounts in perfect order;
∎ Maintain check book register and advance register;
∎ Ensure the security of financial information and taking regular backups;
∎ Prepare expenditure statement and support to compile Assistant manager (Finance);
∎ Monitor and supervise of the nine (9) prison-based intervention (Financial);
∎ Provide inputs in the Tally Accounting Software.
∎ At least 2 years' experience as accountant in any organization;
∎ Practical exposure with Tally (Accounting Software).
∎ Knowledge on Basic accounting principles;
∎ Proficiency in preparing report and financial statement;
∎ Proficiency in managing internal and external audit.
Salary:
∎ 30,000/- (consolidated) per month inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances. No other benefit is admissible.
