Job Context:
∎ Academic cum Administrative Officer for IAHS cum Faculty of Medicine USTC
∎ Location: Academic cum Administrative Office, IAHS, USTC Complex, Foy’s Lake, Khulshi, Chattogram
∎ Purpose of the job: The applicant will form part of the Academic cum Administrative Office team, taking responsibility for aspects of academic cum administrative support.
∎ The applicant will work together, developing common systems and processes, standardized on the best practice and ensuring that the concerned regulations and procedures are adhered to.
∎ The applicant will also be in regular communication with the students and the faculties (maintaining matters of confidentiality) and potential students. So the applicant will need to have excellent organizational skills, demonstrate good use of initiative, and be able to interpret and apply complex information.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Interact and maintain liaison with students, Dean/Principal, faculties, officers, staff and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives.
∎ Actively work in program development, work plan development, presentation and tracking, reporting to the Principal/Dean, Head/Chairman of the Department.
∎ Provide strategic, technical, and programmatic oversight for the development and implementation of programs.
∎ Work in close coordination with the Dean of the Faculty, Principal, Head/Chairman of the Department to ensure quality implementation of programs.
∎ Operate with a high level of independent action in developing work plans, liaising with internal and external offices regarding the implementation of programs, and overall Departmental office activities.
∎ Ensure timely, accurate and appropriate reporting of program activities and results to the authority.
∎ Assist with specific planning-related tasks such as research and drafting of background material.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Professional experience in office management.
∎ Advanced drafting, proofreading and editing skills.
∎ Ability to learn new tasks quickly and cover new roles/requirements at short notice.
∎ Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
∎ Reliable with patience and professionalism.
